re:Invent is for technical practitioners, security professionals, and business decision-makers across every industry and experience level. Sessions range from 100-level foundational to 500-level deep dives, and expo, labs, and workshops are designed for anyone who wants to go hands-on. 47% of attendees in 2025 were first-timers.
Here's what a day at re:Invent looks like: a keynote in the morning, followed by a chalk talk where architects diagram solutions in real time and a hands-on workshop completed in a small group around a table. Walk the expo to meet AWS Partners relevant to your industry, then sit down one-on-one with an AWS engineer in an Ask the Experts session. In the evening, join a focused meetup with practitioners in your space.
Nov. 30 – Dec. 4 in Las Vegas, NV. The conference takes place across multiple venues including Caesars Forum, Caesars Palace, Encore, MGM Grand, The Venetian, and Wynn.

Yes. Keynotes and select live programming will be livestreamed for free. Registration for livestream will open later this year.

re:Play guest pass: $350
Full conference passes include access to keynotes, breakout sessions, hands-on labs, and the broader event experience, including re:Play: the official re:Invent party. An add-on pass is available for re:Play-only entry.

Yes. All attendees must be at least 18 years of age by the day they pick up their conference badge.
During registration, you’ll see the option to purchase group passes. If you plan to attend the event, you’ll be able to apply a pass to yourself after you complete the purchase.
Once you add 10 or more tickets to your cart, the 10% discount will automatically be applied. No discount code is needed.
Upon completing the purchase, your group codes will be available in the attendee portal under the pass management tab. Provide the registration code to each person attending, and they will apply the code when registering to remove the cost of the conference pass. Each person must register themselves through their own account.
During registration, select the re:Play guest pass, or choose the option to purchase additional passes from your attendee portal after you’ve completed registration. The purchase will generate a registration code that you will provide to your guest, which they will use to register themselves. Your guest will need to have a badge in order to attend re:Play. If you are already registered, you will not need to purchase a re:Play pass for yourself; entry is included in your general event registration.

Yes. You need to be registered for re:Invent in order to attend any event sessions or functions. A valid conference badge and lanyard are required when in the designated event spaces.

No. A full conference pass is required to attend re:Invent.
Profile information can be updated through your attendee portal under the Event profile tab. To make any other changes, email customer support at awsreinvent-support@amazon.com. Note that email addresses cannot be changed in your account after registration is complete.

If AWS receives your cancellation notice by Oct. 16 2026, you will be issued a full refund of your registration fees via the original payment method. If AWS receives your cancellation notice between Oct. 17, 2026, and Nov. 23, 2026, AWS will issue you a 50% refund of your registration fees via the original payment method. If AWS receives your cancellation notice after Nov. 23, 2026, you will not be eligible for a refund. Event registrations may be transferred to another participant upon approval by AWS and at its sole discretion. To request a transfer of your event registration, contact us at awsreinvent-support@amazon.com.
Contact us at awsreinvent-support@amazon.com to transfer your registration. Note that we are not able to transfer hotel reservations. Transfers are approved by AWS at its sole discretion.
Hotels & Accommodations

Yes. You will be able to access exclusive discounted rates at our select hotels after completing registration through your attendee portal. The discount will be automatically reflected in the rates; no code is needed. Discounted rates are available as inventory allows through November 5, 2026.

After completing registration, select Book or manage hotel, or log back in to your attendee portal to make a reservation. Hotels fill quickly, so we recommend making your reservation early. Sleeping room blocks close November 5, 2026.

Yes. You are required to provide a credit card when making a hotel reservation. A one-night deposit will be charged to your card directly by the hotel prior to the event.
After registering, you will receive a registration confirmation email followed by a separate email with your hotel acknowledgement number. Note that this is an acknowledgement, not a final hotel confirmation. You can verify your hotel booking at any time in your attendee portal . Official hotel confirmation emails will be sent directly by the hotel between November 5-13. Be sure to check your junk/spam folder if you haven’t received one by then.
You can make changes to your hotel reservation through your attendee portal by selecting Book or manage hotel until early November. To request availability at other hotels after you’ve made a reservation, email customer support at awsreinvent-support@amazon.com.
All reservations made through the re:Invent block follow each hotel’s cancellation policies. Please contact the hotel directly to inquire about their cancellation policy.
Due to gaming regulations, you must be at least 21 years old to make a reservation at all re:Invent campus hotels, excluding Treasure Island. If you are 18 to 20 years old, you can stay at any hotel if you are checking in with someone who is 21 or over. Please reach out to awsreinvent-support@amazon.com with questions.
Sessions & Content

The re:Invent 2026 event catalog will be available on June 30. You can browse sessions, labs, workshops, and other activities, and mark favorites to start planning your schedule. More content will be added leading up to the conference.

Reserved Seating
Open allYes. Reserved seating will open this fall. Registered attendees can start favoriting sessions once the event catalog launches.

Reserved seating allows in-person attendees to secure a seat in a session in advance. Once reserved seating is open, attendees registered for in-person re:Invent can reserve seats in participating session types through the catalog by signing in to their attendee portal or by signing in to the AWS Events mobile app.

Bootcamps, builders’ sessions, chalk talks, code talks, exam prep, gamified learning, select labs, and workshops are all included in reserved seating. Attendees do not need to reserve a seat for keynotes. If a session or activity is not included in reserved seating, it will be noted with "No reserved seating available."

Sign into your attendee portal or the AWS Events mobile app and navigate to the event catalog. From there you will see the option to reserve seats in participating sessions.

You do not have to reserve a seat for sessions that are included in reserved seating ahead of time, but it is strongly encouraged to secure a seat. We hold back a limited number of seats in each session for walk-up attendees.

Favoriting a catalog entry adds sessions and activities you’re interested in to your favorites list. You can favorite multiple sessions or activities that occur at the same time as you plan out your schedule for re:Invent. Registered attendees can favorite sessions from within your attendee portal by selecting the heart next to the session ID. For session types that are included in reserved seating, you must take the additional step of reserving that session to secure your seat. You may not reserve seats in multiple sessions that occur at the same time.

No. You must arrive at the room at least ten minutes prior to the session start time or your seat will be released to walk-up attendees and you will be asked to join the back of the walk-up line.

Look for repeated instances of sessions (indicated with -R in the session ID) or continue checking back for availability in that session. You may also join the walk-up queue onsite.
AWS Certification

Certification exams will not be offered onsite at re:Invent; however, all in-person re:Invent registrants will receive a 50% discount for any AWS Certification exam. You can access your voucher and see additional details in your attendee portal.

After you register to attend re:Invent in person, you can access your voucher code in your re:Invent Attendee Portal.

Your exam appointment can be for any day before January 31, 2027. Offer limited to one exam voucher per individual. Offer cannot be combined with any other offers.

- Navigate to AWS Certification and select Schedule an exam.
- Choose a sign in method when prompted, and select Sign in.
- Select the Exam Registration drop-down and then select Schedule an exam.
- Find the exam you wish to take and select Schedule.
- You will then be redirected to Pearson VUE’s scheduling page, where you will complete your exam registration.
Visit the Verify my AWS Certification desk at the Venetian on Sunday and Monday or the AWS Certification Lounge at Caesars Forum from Sunday to Friday. You can also pre-verify online directly in your re:Invent Attendee Portal.

- Click on your badge(s).
- Present badge at the verification desks to get your verification sticker.
Getting Around
Open allYes. Shuttles travel between properties and run continuously during conference hours. Badge holders can also take the Las Vegas Monorail for free by showing their badges to the at the entrance. Transportation details will be provided in the fall.
Yes. You must have a valid re:Invent badge to ride the shuttles.

At the Conference
Open allBreakfast, lunch, and snacks will be served on full conference days. All dishes will be labeled with the following allergens/ingredients: dairy, gluten, tree nuts, shellfish, eggs, peanuts, soy, alcohol, vegetarian, and vegan.
Yes. Halal and kosher meals will be available while supplies last. Please contact customer support to pre-order your meals.
Focused meetups organized by role and interest, professional networking receptions, and community activities. Connections here tend to start around shared technical problems rather than business cards. Many attendees describe hallway conversations that became ongoing partnerships. Look for additional details in our event catalog when it launches.
